Double MM Ranch
THE HOME: Seated on 25 acres with unobstructed views of Paradise Valley and the Yellowstone River to the east. To your west are towering peaks of the Absaroka Mountains. Picture clean, luxurious, mountain modern oasis.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: A total of 8 people can comfortably sleep in the home with 7 beds. The main level has a bedroom with a single queen bed. Another bedroom on the main level has a bedroom with 2 full size beds. These are bunk style, but the bunk is very spacious and has enough height for even an adult. There is a large full bathroom with tub/shower combo between these two rooms on the main level.
Just upstairs into a large loft area looking over the living room there are 2 twin beds (these can be easily converted into a king bed with a very nice conversion kit).
There is also a daybed type bed with a twin size mattress and a twin bed trundle.
On the other end of the house is a very large master bath with soaker tub, walk in shower and double vanities. The master bedroom is locked for owner use only. And they are never there when we have guests. All linens, towels and organic Public Goods personal care amenities are provided for your stay.
LIVING AND SHARED SPACES: The living area has a real wood fireplace, towering windows framing Emigrant Peak, 2 couches & two oversized chairs. A large flat screen smart TV is above the mantle.
The kitchen is large, fully stocked with commercial grade stainless steel appliances, small appliances like blender, crockpot, toaster, coffee maker, etc. We provide dish detergent, soaps, paper towels, and coffee filters for your stay.
Just off the living area is a large covered patio with seating, a picnic table and a propane BBQ grill (propane included).
THE AREA: The home is at the end of a gravel (but well maintained road) overlooking the valley. It sits on 25 acres next to a large ranch and there are a few homes that you pass on the way to the house.
Paradise Valley or as some say, 'The Valley’ – Paradise Valley runs north and south from Livingston to Gardiner along the Yellowstone River. On either side are mountain ranges running north and south. There are a number of local places for food, gasoline, and groceries within a 10-to-30-minute drive. Paradise Valley is exquisite, pristine and filled with hidden trails, river access sites, hot springs, scenic drives and more.
Livingston, MT “In Town” (40 minutes or 31 miles, north) – The town of Livingston is just north of the house about 31 miles. In Livingston, you will find full-service grocery stores, a hospital, movie theater, pharmacy, shops and art galleries and great restaurants - just about anything you need or want is a beautiful and short drive away.
Gardiner, MT (26 miles, south + Yellowstone National Park) – This is the only gateway to YNP open year-round. The North Entrance of the YNP (Gardiner) and the road to Silver Gate / Cooke City, MT is plowed year-round.
The house's master bedroom is locked for guests. It is not advertised in the listing as part of the 3 available rooms.
Garbage service is not available at this location, there are several places nearby to dispose of your bagged garbage, a map will be provided.
You will want a reliable 4wd vehicle year round. The house is off a main highway and then a gravel road, but it is very well maintained. We ask you drive 10mph on the gravel. Neighbors will get frustrated if you speed through and it is very hard on the road.
You will want to drive to public hiking access points, the river and to the various smaller communities around.

We absolutely found heaven on earth at this place! Amazingly designed home in the heart of the stunning mountains. The views are breathtaking. We loved every second of our stay there (especially watching the 100s of elk right at our door step) and definitely intend to visit again one day soon. The house is nicely placed on a flat area between the Yellowstone River and mountains. Each morning we watched a herd of about 200 Elk walk to a high spot on the hillside and bed down for the day. Deer came up close to the house to feed and plenty of birds were soaring around. The soaking tub in front of the window captured the moon setting each morning over the other mountain range. The house is very comfortable and offers plenty of comforts. One couple and a bunch of kids will fit well as one bedroom has bunk beds and the other beds are in a loft. There's a bunch of staples (flour, sugar (white, raw, brown, confectionary), oil, spray oils, trash bags, etc. So check out what's there before shopping. There's a "general store" just a couple miles away on Murry Rd which offers a wide range of groceries. This is also close to where you need to take your trash. Unfortunately, this location only recycles metal and cardboard so all your plastic goes to the landfill. A real fireplace was wonderful and because of the extremely dry climate, all the firewood was easy to light. The views from every room are just stunning. The oversized leather couches are really great for hanging out around the fire. The TV is hung a bit too high so you'll crane your neck a little if you are up close. Double MM property was beautiful! Home is stunning & well located to Emigrant, Livingston, & Yellowstone! Pictures do not really do it justice-it is excellent! Owners just need to make Master available for what paying for home! Views of Emigrant Peak & surrounding vistas from front & back are beyond awesome!! Huge kitchen & living area! My wife and I loved our stay. The house is as amazing as represented in the pictures. A perfect location to stay between Bozeman and YNP. We spent days hiking in the area and were provided great recommendations from the hosts. What to even say about this house! It was situated with 360 degree views in a very private and quiet location. This house provided our family an incredibly relaxing vacation. The design of the house and the decor were stunning and we used the kitchen nonstop! While set rurally, it was 15 mins away from Emigrant where there were restaurants, bars, gas and a general store. About 30 mins away was the larger town of Livingston in one direction and Yellowstone in the other.
