The other bedroom at the other end of the house is extra large with 2 queen beds, and 4 single twin beds (2 bunk beds), and attached bathroom with a tub/shower combo.
The living area walks out to a nice oversized patio with outdoor dining table, adirondack chairs, a Traeger smoker, corn hole and bocce yard games. The yard is large and open - plenty of unfenced room for your dog(s) and kids to roam!
The property goes to the Yellowstone River and has a private bridge to get over a small irrigation ditch to get to the river. Private access for fishing for you! Check out this aerial video and home tour here: https://youtu.be/kP88AsUTk0U
Guests have access to the entire property, including the large shop / garage for your vehicle or extra hangout space.
The home will come well stocked with all the linens, towels, paper goods, soaps, detergents and more you need for an enjoyable stay.
The kitchen is STOCKED with all the dishes, serving ware, small appliances like blenders, crockpots, regular 12-pot coffee maker, toaster, sharp knives and more. You will want for nothing and never want to leave the simple, fun, clean and convenient Yellowstone Crest Lodge!

Quiet, rural, you do see neighbors but all is safe and serene. Garbage service is not available at this location, there are several places nearby to dispose of your bagged garbage, a map will be provided.
You will need a vehicle in Montana. We always recommend a 4x4 for winter months. You can walk up and down the rural gravel road and walk to the fishing access. A vehicle is needed to get into town where you will find grocery, restaurants, entertainment and more.
The home is near a moving river, there is wildlife in the area including bears, snakes, deer and more. Please be aware.

Wonderful Stay!
The house was awesome! We had everything we needed for our stay. Communication with Key Montana was also very smooth. The wildlife and scenery was also fantastic. We ended up driving to the river access (only about a minute or two tops) because of the easy access there. We had a great time at this property.- Anonymous from Tulsa, Posted: 8/15/2024We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay with us. This property is beautiful, the house is amazing! With that said we were disappointed in a couple areas. First, the picture of the Yellowstone river shown in the listing is not what you see or have access to from the house. There is a path from the house that leads to a gate. One the other side of the gate is a drop off to a very small area of the river. Second, the blinds and windows and lamps hadn’t been dusted in a long time. There was a glob of something sticky on one of the cupboards that we had to clean off. Again, the house itself was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay for the most part.- Anonymous from Pioneer, Posted: 8/15/2024We are so sorry for the few cleaning issues. We wish that you would have let us know so we could have sent someone over to take care of those things. As for the river access I apologize as well, I always thought it was a simple walk but so sorry if that wasnt the case for you guys.- Key Montana staff, Posted:

Wonderful space to relax and let the dogs run. Access to walk along the Yellowstone river a plus for everyone. Easy drive to Livingston for dinner, shopping or groceries.- Anonymous , Posted: 3/14/2024
Awesome place! Great host.- Anonymous , Posted: 12/22/2023
Enjoyed sitting out back enjoying a gentle breeze. Beautiful view from master bedroom. Loved the location near the river and close enough to town and hiking.- Anonymous , Posted: 9/4/2023
Yellowstone Crest Lodge was just right for our family gathering. It was large and spacious with great access to the Yellowstone river and breathtaking views. The drive in along the Yellowstone river is also one of a kind. Saw golden and bald eagles which was a real treat.- Anonymous , Posted: 7/9/2023
After making a last minute decision to visit our son over the holiday weekend we booked this property. Each day we were here we appreciated the details and setting more and more. It turned out to be the perfect place for our stay and we truly appreciated the setting, the property itself, our hosts, and our travels.- Anonymous , Posted: 7/3/2023
Our family absolutely enjoyed our stay at Yellowstone Crest. The views are amazing. Our first couple of days had rain on and off, but there is plenty of room for sitting around and playing games in the open living area. And when the sun came out we sat at the picnic tables, played corn hole and walked to the fishing access site down the road. Kitchen was well stocked as mentioned (only a grinder for our coffee beans was missing). Easy access to the North Entrance to Yellowstone was a great day trip. Very clean throughout with comfortable beds and lots of bedding. We did lose electricity for a few hours (very entertaining thunderstorm) our last night, but there are plenty of flashlights and we had a lovely candlelit dinner. The folks at Key Montana were easy to work with.- Anonymous , Posted: 6/27/2023
This place is absolutely beautiful! Such a nice cabin! Lots of updates and the scenery is breathtaking! Only thing, the road to get there is 3 miles of gravel which needed to be grated and have gravel put down.. not the owners fault.. but it would be nice if that road was not so rough.- Anonymous , Posted: 6/19/2023
We really enjoyed our stay at the Yellowstone Crest. The house was perfect for us to spend some great family time enjoying the outdoors. The stars and the wilderness did not disappoint. The house was very well stocked and plenty big enough for our family of six (with room to spare). The TV wasn't turned on once and we hardly even picked up our cell phones because we were too busy playing games or exploring. Thanks for letting us stay!- Anonymous , Posted: 4/23/2023
Nice and comfortable cabin, well-stocked with towels, pillows, blankets, soaps, paper products, etc. The location is quiet and peaceful but only a short drive to Livingston. Depending on how much you wish to explore/drive, it will serve as a hub for your family to see Paradise Valley, Bozeman, Yellowstone and Ennis just to name a few!- Anonymous , Posted: 6/24/2022
