Description
Just a short drive from beautiful downtown Livingston and the famed Paradise Valley of Montana, this private riverfront three bedroom (plus an additional artists paddock house) has the perfect location for a secluded family getaway while enjoying quick and easy access to the Yellowstone River, shopping, dining, nightlife, and the bountiful outdoor recreation of the area. Walk off the massive decks down to the Yellowstone River and try your hand at catching a trout, watching Osprey and Eagles, or just enjoy watching the deer, sandhill cranes and other wildlife easily found on the property.

This sleek and stylish, completely renovated log home puts a modern spin on the traditional ski and mountain lodge with its clean straight lines, open concept floor plan, and bright, elegant color schemes and finely sourced artwork and interiors. The living room is adorned with windows on all walls, designer furnishings, and gorgeous 2 sided stone mantle with a wood burning fireplace and a gas fireplace. The vaulted ceiling is extra-high, and the walls underneath are made up of river and mountain views, setting a warm and inviting tone in the living room that you and your guests will love.

Cranes Bend is the perfect host for family dinner, with formal and alfresco dining for eight, a fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast island, dishwasher, and barbecue grill. After your meal, curl up with a good book by the fireplace, slip away to the covered and screened sleep porch, or settle in for a family movie night in the media room. If you’ve still got some energy to burn, head back down to the river to watch a sunset or take that 10 minute drive into Livingston to explore the world-renowned restaurants and western bars where you often spot a movie star or famous musician.

While Crane's Bend abounds with wildlife, relaxation, and incomparable views, you will definitely want to take the easy 1-hour scenic drive to Yellowstone National Park for a day or two of sightseeing in our nations first and most famous National Park. The Yellowstone River itself, which flows past the house is home to some of the nations most talked about trout fishing, scenic floats, rafting and more. It's simple to book a guide for any of these adventures, all within minutes of the Lodge.

The sleeping arrangements at Cranes Bend are designed with luxury and privacy in mind. Each bedroom has a door to a patio or porch facing the mountains and river and each with their own private full size bathroom. The "paddock house" is adjacent to the lodge and it's own quaint and private retreat (no bathroom in the paddock house, but a full size bath separate from the bedrooms of the main lodge is designated for the paddock house guest(s)).
