Wildlife abounds, even in town and the sunrises and sunsets are indescribable at this newly remodeled and modern home.
This is a single family home, newly remodeled. It offers bright, cozy and well thought out spaces for relaxing, working, sleeping and adventuring the areas many attractions.
You have access to the entire home and yard, with the only exception being, a locked owners closet. We offer a self check in with an electronic keypad on the front door. Your code will be sent to you prior to check in. We offer outdoor seating in the front and backyard with a propane BBQ and a gas fire pit.
The gals at Key Montana Property Management are all local, living here for decades and we have a wealth of knowledge to share regarding activities, shopping, eating or about the home in general. Please ask if you need anything!
The Big 5 is in a quiet residential neighborhood on the north side of Livingston. It sits atop a "hill" that overlooks town but is still just a few blocks from Main Street and the historic downtown. We always recommend a 4 wheel drive vehicle for traveling to Bozeman (25 minutes) and Yellowstone National Park (50 minutes). In town, you are a 5-10 minute walk to the heart of downtown Livingston, a 10 minute walk to the Northside Soccer Complex and the Yellowstone River near Sacajawea Park and the Lagoon. There is a driveway and additional gravel off street parking spaces for off-street parking at the house.

Livingston is always vibrant but is especially alive in the summer time with various festivals, rodeos, nightly music choices and more! Critically acclaimed restaurants line the neon-lit downtown area with choices from local farmed lamb to brick oven bakeries to Chinese to good ol' Montana fall-off-the-bone ribs. Lively western bars and microbreweries dot the picturesque downtown. Various bands from all over the country liven up the night giving listeners a choice of what music they'd like to listen or dance to. Two live theaters, casinos, movie house, and bowling alley (only open in the fall, winter and spring months) add to the nightlife options. There are often music events and festivals held in and around the area, including a Farmers Market during the summer (every Wednesday afternoon), various live music festivals, rodeos, and the annual Livingston Round Up 4th of July events.
Daytime activities include shopping at many of the boutique and specialty shops downtown, some with history back to the 1930's. Recreationally, there are endless hiking/biking opportunities in the Livingston Area, as well as world-renowned fly fishing, adding to one of the many reasons that Livingston is also headquarters to the International Fly Fishing Federation. Swimming pool (and local swimming holes in the river), golf course, art galleries and museums prove that there is something for everyone in Livingston.
The home is in very close proximity to many other attractions beyond the city limits. Only 50 minutes from the main entrance of Yellowstone National Park, it's no wonder that Livingston is called the original gateway to Yellowstone.

Fantastic house
The view lived up to the photos! The house was cute and practically laid out. The themed bedrooms were well done (note for those sleeping downstairs - the upstairs floors are pretty squeaky!) The house was clean with extra towels. And communications with the property manager were great. The Livingston area is charming as well - a nice alternative to the motels around the Yellowstone area. Montana Stay
Overall we enjoyed our stay at Big 5 Bungalow and the views were absolutely stunning. The house was clean and modern, spacious and accommodated our family very nicely. My personal preference would've been for a master suite private bathroom but not having one did not detract from the overall stay. The one thing that I think needs to be changed is the King bed on the first level - it was extremely uncomfortable, with a very hard mattress that resulted in lots of tossing and turning trying to get a comfortable position for sleep. I also would've liked to have had televisions in the bedrooms. Beautiful home with a beautiful mountain view!! We loved our stay- only wish we could have stayed longer. The home was very clean with nice decor. Comfortable beds. Perfect layout for our group of 6 adults with 2 bedrooms/1 bath on main floor and 2 bedrooms/1 bath on the lower level. Exactly as described and pictured on the listing. Very responsive host. This house was absolutely perfect for our trip to Livingston. Stunning views over the valley and mountains! The house was spotlessly clean and so comfortable. The rooms were gorgeous and we really loved all the small touches. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed. The hill up to the house was a little steep but I'm sure it would have been walkable if we wanted to. We had a car so it only look us a couple of minutes to get downtown. Selected this property primarily because of proximity to 2nd property we were renting for all of our adult children and so expectations were not high. But the property exceeded our expectations and was perfect and with a beautiful view. We had 4 couples and all had queen/king beds (many times they have 1 room with twins). Everything was as expected or better. Great view, location, and house size. One bedroom has French doors that open to living room, so consider sleeping schedules when assigning rooms. Walls seem to be on the thin side too. MISSING A BBQ! Also, checkout procedure was a little high maintenance in my opinion. Other that that, I give a solid 5 stars.
